Quiet Waters

[Timeline: After Unexpected Meeting]
Once they crossed an unknown river via boat, Jael helped Crysolite onto the shore where a horse was waiting for him. It was clearly an elvish horse, by the presence and look of it.
"Wow...That's a pretty horse," she paused for a moment in awe. "I've never seen anything like it before…"
"Just wait, Crys." He grinned at her slightly. "A few more miles and we'll be in Gaelon. I hope you'll like what I got you..."
"Can't wait until we get there," she smiled.
He motioned her over to the horse. She walked over to the horse, put her arm on the saddle, and pulled herself onto it. She slid backward on it so Jael could get on.
Naturally, he mounted it with ease. "Hold on, he goes fast."
 "Let's go!"
He kicked the sides of the horse after he grabbed the reigns. The horse took off without preamble, galloping quickly towards Gaelon.. There was more of a breeze now that they were on a horse, but it felt good. Crysolite couldn't wait to get to Gaelon. On the way over, they past several rivers and creekbeds, all surprisingly running with clean/healthy water. Beams of sunlight sneaked through the treetops, occasionally hitting Jael's blond hair and Cry's green
"It's so pretty here compared to the other world. We must be getting close."
He nodded quietly. They past through several trails. Birds were in the air singing as well as large and small butterflies. Smells of all sorts of flowers and fragrance past by them, mostly of lavender and ivory, perhaps strawberries. When they got to the site itself, it was something that would only be imagined by humans to touch. In the distance, a few unicorns ran free, playing with another one. A few leaves fell off the nearby tree as Jael pulled up to the silver gate.
Past the silver gate was an entire village that looked as if it stood there for decades on. It was lit nicely by the bright sun.
Crysolite was speechless. She looked around in wonder...How Jael had described before about how beautiful this place was...and it was.
Harps as well as other music played softly in the background, played by the local elves.
She looked around at the inhabitants of the place. They all looked pretty happy and that they were enjoying themselves.
"Wow..." Crysolite whispered, in awe.
"There's more...but before I can show you, my parents would be pleased to see you."
The horse trotted up towards a stone palace/mansion.
"They live here?"
He nodded and dismounted the horse, landing silently on his feet. Jael reached up to help her off. Crysolite got down with his help, still looking at the palace
"Follow me."
She nodded to him. He led the way. The guards recognized him and allowed them entrance. Crysolite looked at them both for a second then continued to look ahead.  When they grew closer, a young man with the same blond hair as Jael sat on a velvet throne. He had pointed ears and ice cold blue eyes that peered at Crysolite. He looked older than Jael. A woman sat next to him, same colour of hair, eyes, and pointed ears.
"This is Crysolite?" the man asked.
"Yes, father. Crysolite Navi, meet my father, Lord Germaine Do'Urden."
"Hi," she said as she did a little bow.
Germaine Do'Urden nodded, smiling softly. "Greetings. We have heard everything about you. Including your family history..."
"I haven't heard too much about you, considering I didn't know much, but hopefully I will get to know you both."
Germaine nodded. "Of course. Do you know where your brother's whereabouts are?"
"No. I don't even know if they are alive or not...I'm sorry."
"It's all right. We would like to have you as our guest for a few weeks."
"Oh…Thank you."
Crysolite was a little nervous. It was like she was a new kid in town, not knowing anyone very much.
"Our son, whom you've already met, will show you around."
"Again, Thanks. This is all really new to me."
They nodded. "Go now."
"Well, it was nice to meet you." She turned to Jael.
He saluted to her, bringing his balled up hand up to his chest and away into an arch. Tapping her shoulder as they backed out of the meeting, Jael said, "I wish to show you something."
"You already have shown me something!"
He smiled softly. "Something else, I would really like to show it to you."
"Alright. I don't think it will top this, though."
"It just might." He led her away towards a forest with sunlight streaming through the full, luscious green trees.
"Forests...I love forests," she said and smiled
"Look towards the right, down by the river."
White rose pedals danced and twirled in the air as two unicorns were playing and splashing in. She looks down by the river.
"This place is so amazing... how could anyone not want to live here...It's so pretty...I really missed out a lot before now..." She paused. "I had no idea these kind of things even existed.."
"They do and humans cannot touch unicorns…they are not pure enough."
"Not pure enough? Like they have too much evil in their heart?"
"Yes, that and they're made unpurely..."
He looked at her. "One touch from a human to a unicorn could kill one or bring the world to doom."
"How could it bring the world to doom? Just by touching it?"
"A unicorn is the purest thing known to earth. It would be like crushing a rose."
He led her over to them. "But you being faerie...you're a creature of peace."
"I still don't understand HOW it would destroy the earth, but that doesn't matter. As long as it doesn't happen, right?"
"Right."
"What if someone who was pure turned evil and touched it though? Would it be destruction or..."
He looked sharply at her. "Could mean death for the unicorn...Crysolite, is everything all right?"
"Yes. I was just wondering. I'm curious about everything in this place"
He smiled. "Oh. Go on, reach out."
She reached out and touched the beautiful unicorn. It felt like nothing she'd ever felt before. It felt so silky; so smooth. The unicorn walked up closer to her, rubbing itself against her cheek a little with its nose. Its nose felt warm and fuzzy and wet, as if it was a dogs nose except it felt so much more
Jael grinned boyishly at her. "Very few still exist."
Her face changed. She now had a saddened look. "How come? Were there just not many to begin with or was it people...?"
"People."
"Or course." She sighed. "At least they aren't all gone."
He nodded a bit, thinking. "Come. Let's get some rest for tonight. We've had a long journey."
Stepping back a bit, he led her back into the palace and showed her where she would sleep for the night. Saying good night to her, he departed the room to his own.
