Texan bred, Nick was born a Navy brat along with his brother who came along two years after he did. He spent most of his childhood growing up in Texas and was far from being a mommy's boy. Not only was he reckless and was dragged into the Houston police station a lot, but he had a lot of girl friend activity starting from the sixth grade.

When Nick was eighteen years old, he went into the Navy after he had it with his father. He spent eight - nine years in the military. He past the trials and made the team of the Navy SEALs during that time.

In 1997, he was paid to go on assignment to hunt and destroy the vampire Va'Shanna only to find out that the job was more than he had bargained for. Read Truth Be Told for details. They finally settled to an uneasy truce.

He was quickly attracted to her, but he fought off the feelings for as long as he could, never able to quite forget what he had saw that night when he learned what she was for the first time.

In time, he accepted what she truly was and perhaps even what he had become.

In the years, he has gained great practice and knowledge with the supernatural world and from his fear of first discovering them in 1997; he has learned to twist that fear into using it to help him survive. One of his greatest fears is, of course, losing his mortality for any other kind of life…although, he has considered a great deal of many times of joining V, if it is by her hand.

Though he doesn't consider himself a hunter of any sort, believing that killing every vampire without knowledge is inhuman -- since of course every vampire or supernatural creature isn't always necessarily evil -- he does help V in killing those that do terrorize the streets of New York, mortal included.

Mid year of 2002, Nick was nearly killed by a stray bullet that popped him in the side of his head. With his vampiress help, he was given enough blood to help his brain cells recover so that the rest of his life wouldn't be wasted as a vegetable. The blood was just enough to help him heal, however, not enough to bring him across. Yet, now with Va'Shanna's blood running through his veins, if his body is not destroyed, he will rise again as a vampire after the true death now.

After great amounts of thought and consideration, he finally popped the questioned, asking V to become his wife and she accepted. Married July 15th, 2002.

On New Year’s Eve, anticipating the year 2006 to officially start, Nick was murdered while doing a recon mission with Va’Shanna and others.
